In the current artistic season she will be working on the following titles: "Nabucco" Verdi, "Senso" Tutino, „Medeamaterial” Dusapin, „The Nightingale” Stravinsky.

This October Ewa Strusińska makes her Scandinavian debut working with excellent Uppsala Chamber Orchestra. They will perform music by Haydn, Mozart, Porpora and the only classical symphony composed by a woman - Symphony in C by Marianna von Martinez.

Ewa Strusinska returns to Buxton Festival with "Tarka the Otter", an opera by Stephen McNeff directed by Robin Tebbutt. Based on Henry Williamson's classic novel, this "powerful and moving opera depicts the fierce struggle for survival in the wild, while celebrating life and the eternal rhythms of nature".

In February, the Municipal House of Culture in Stalowa Wola held a concert entitled "The Emperor's Ball." Rzeszów Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Ewa Strusińska played the most famous pieces by J. Strauss. After the concert Ewa Strusińska has been granted the title of "Ambassador of Stalowa Wola".

The "Ambassador of Stalowa Wola" title is given to people connected with the city as gratification for their achievements in Poland and abroad.

The Hallé appointment |

We are happy to announce that Ewa Strusińska has been appointed assistant conductor of the Hallé Orchestra, the oldest orchestra in Britain. She will be the first woman to hold such a post in the country.

She will assist the Hallé's music director, Mark Elder, and other guest conductors as well as directing the Hallé Youth Orchestra. The Hallé, based in Manchester and celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, is among the world's leading orchestras.
